Before leaving South America, get acquainted with Buenos Aires during this tour highlighting
the city's major neighborhoods and attractions. We visited the Recoleta Cemetery, an amazing
aboveground cemetery lined with Mausoleums and statues
(1 - 8).
Then, we made a return trip to La Boca, and its famous for its multicolor
tin houses. After lunch, I strolled down toward
Opera Bay,
which was built to resemble the
Sydney Opera House
and saw the
Puente de la Mujer
bridge from a distance. Later, we saw Plaza de Mayo surrounded by the Casa Rosada,
the Cabildo (Colonial Town Hall) and the Cathedral
(1 - 7).
Then we spent, oh, 6 hours in the airport. Luckily, we had
Barry there with his laptop to entertain us with the slide shows for
South America, Australia and the British Isles
